Replacing the GY LS2 bricks

Too many threads to come to a conclusion, so I thought I'd throw this out there.

I live in NY.. The roads are horrible. They're bumpy, noisy, cracked everywhere.
I'm looking for a conventional tire for the 528i xdrive, that will give me a soft ride, as little tire growl (road noise), some winter traction (I live in the north east USA), YET not lose the quality handling of owning a BMW.

I currently have the GY Eagle LS run flats, and I feel like Im riding on bricks.
They're noisy, hard, and while they offer the confidence of not "getting a flat", I think I'll take my chances and get a tire repair kit, and keep my AAA card in my wallet

While on the subject. my current tires have plenty of tread, and was wondering if they have any used tire value for resale?

Your thoughts?

Michelin AS3+ is my goto recommendation for a non-runflat all season to my BMW clients.

Goodyear LS2's are the worst tire ever made, I swear.

My local dealer has a nice deal on the Michelin Defender T+H... are they any good by comparison to the AS3?
Are the Michelin's quiet? I hate road noise.. Aren't too many black top roads here and the GY LS2's remind me every day.

And Im glad you said the GY are the worst ever made.. I thought maybe I was just being too picky.

Thank you.
I went with the Michelins, and Im very happy I did.
Huge difference in ride quality!!

I need to get a really good tire repair kit.. I see a bunch of them, and don't know one from the other..
I guess Id might as well ask what others have done?

I bought this kit on Amazon... Fits perfectly in the passenger side cubby of the trunk.

I got these as well after ditching my run-flats. They have a made world of a difference. Car is much smoother and grips very well. Works really well in the rain and even in the snow (only snowed a few times but was still able to go out in the snow and play around).

I got a really good deal from Costco for them (they also had a $70 coupon for Michelin tires going on)
