Service Demo 2014

I'm looking at a 2014 Demo, that is leasable... The price online is $63,350 discounted to $55,850. ~6500 miles

1. Is this a good deal? How much more can I try to push for?
2. Are the residuals and mf the same for a 2014?

Thanks!

You can definitely do better. I just picked up a new (not demo) 2014 with several thousand more off than that.

I believe the money factor and residuals are the same for 2014 and 2015, the difference being that 39 month is now the preferred lease period for 2015 and have the same residuals as 2014 36 month leases.

You can do much better. I got a 2014 last week, Brand new with 12 miles. Msrp was 62- paid 53.5. Could have negotiated more but was In a hurry and thought it was a good enough price.

I agree, I think if you shop around a bit, you can probably get a brand new 2015 with the same MSRP for less that $55K.

Thanks for the advice everyone!

Since it's CPO, owners choice or whatever... the dealer said it qualifies for 61% RSV at 0.00038

How they keep quoting me $605 with $2500 down is beyond me. He said price wasn't that flexible... seems to be a Texas thing, but asked what I'd be willing to pay.

I tried putting it into a lease calculator and was unable to match their figures, mine come out significantly lower.

I think I might move on, thoughts?

Yes. I had a special promo price on the lease payments (my employer has additional discounts) but my payment is under 500 with tax. I put down max msd and only paid for first payment, dmv and acquisition up front.

Show them your calculation and ask why their is so high, maybe you will find out what is missing in your calculation or what addition charges the dealer tagging on. Either way, I would move on. The BMW lease special this month for a 535i is $589 a month for a car with the MSRP of $62150 with $3500 down and this is for a brand new 2015, not a used 2014.

You can likely get a better deal on a new 2015. I just signed a lease and picking up my new car Saturday

2015 535i X-drive
MSRP - $63,000
Sale Price - $56,400 (dealer invoice appears to be $58,600)
MF - .0013
Residual - 62%
Premium package
Cold weather package
Backup Camera
PDC
No money down and no MSD (not allowed in NY)
$568.71/month before tax (i will pay tax upfront)
39 month lease and 10k miles per year.
$3,446.75 due at signing (tax, acquisition fee and first month)

If you're looking at MSports, watch the build dates on the 2014's. If it was build prior to September 2013, it does not have the sport suspension, just the standard suspension.

Thanks for you help everyone!

The service loaner is actually owner's choice... TX, which i couldn't plug the figures in to get a decent monthly payment, so ill pass. I got them down 10K to $53,350, 61% rev, and interest of 0.9%. Plugging into a balloon calculator, do you use 61% of the MSRP or negotiated price?

Either way,

I think I will pull the trigger on:
2014 528i
MSRP: $57,650
Negotiated: $49,002.50 (15% discount)
RSV: 61% or 62% I actually don't know... 10k miles
MF: 0.0013
7 MSD's will make it 0.00081?

Thoughts?

7 MSD's, the max right?

with 7 MSD, $537.58 including tax in TX, which is full amount on car.
$452.51 without taxes

All fees paid upfront

Keep working on them.

Dealers play this game non stop.

There is no way a $63,350 car with 6,500 miles should be reduced only $8k.

Try trading in a car like this and see what type of horrible number they will give you.

Thanks! I've gotten them down to $52,600 from $63,350 and I can lease it so I put more value than straight up cpo cars

It seems as low as they'll go and I'll probably take delivery soon!

Wish me luck... Or warn me if I'm leaving money on the table!
