Sporadic issues with CD/i-Drive...
So, I noticed every so often, after the first start-up for the day, the CD player would occasionally freeze, then it would revert to the Radio - and the irony is I had the exact same issue with a 2010 335i. By stopping and starting, it does reset and goes back to the CD. Anyone else experience this? Think it's worth a trip to the dealer? But, from what I remember on my 335, due to the sporadic nature of the issue, the dealer could not replicate...

I find the I-drvie easy to use but it is quite buggy when my iPod is connected. Often when I start the car, it will not be on the same screen that is was on when I turned off the car. When I start the car it often displays a different playlist than I am listening to, or sometimes back up a level to select the playlist. When I hit Current Playback, sometimes it works, sometimes it will display only the song playing and not the rest of the playlist. I find it quite annoying. Strangely enough, if I put the car in reverse to engage the camera, then drive, it almost always goes back to the proper screen even if the wrong one was showing before I selected reverse. My 335i with the older i-drive software never had these problems. I haven't bothered to tell the dealer because as you said, it is sporadic so I know the answer will be "could not replicate".
