My understanding is if you ever want to take it off the paint will come off as well right?

if you use BetaLink it's more for pernament use. you would demolish the wing and part of the trunk trying to get it off. when i use 3m tape it just felt too loose and not as solid on the trunk. but than again my wing is a bit larger than say the M5 spoiler so in the long run i knew i would not be removing the spoiler period.
