Hot air blowing from vent near A-pillar
One month old 2016 F10 bought brand new.
Hot air keeps blowing from the vent/fan near the windscreen. Pic attached, the one I am talking about is the vent facing up, and its in the back of the steering wheel on the far left top corner in the image. AC running, Auto or Manual. Both cases I can feel the hot air blowing out of that 'up' vent. Any ideas why this could be?

I feel this blast of hot air while driving and wasn't able to figure out. Tried everything that could do the temperature adjustment. If I place my hand at the vent even the plastic parts feel warm to touch. Confused at the moment. Even when the car is just about moving after say 5 hours parked at work, the warm air comes up instantly on driving. Does not seem to be overheating or engine heat transfer either

A couple of thoughts....
"Warm" air should come out of that vent to defrost the side windows. How much heat does that electrical device in the air vent generate? |
