Currently my sunroof is stuck in the tilted open position. Originally (2 days ago) I attempted to open the sunroof. The interior portion slid mostly all the way back, stopped, and I saw a "Anti trap malfunction" error. Pressed the buttons did nothing and the roof only tilted up and down. The next day, I tried the reset (holding button, etc) and the vent opened, I heard some clicking, then nothing. Now I can't even close the vent shut.

Took it to a shop and was given the below on the estimate

ELE0 05 Replace sunroof motor. 115.00 (L) 677.00 (P) 792.00 (T)

1.00 67 61 7 316 535 SUNROOF MOTOR 595.34

6.00 54 10 7 209 205 FILLISTER HEAD SCREW 81.66

Using https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...drive/1LD3qGxN but still unsure why they needed the Fillister screws.

Service tech said there are faults in the system for the hall sensor which is in the motor. Has anyone done a motor replacement for this car? Shop went from saying "no warranty on customer supplied parts" to saying they won't work with any used parts and warned me changing the motor repeatedly (which may be required if used) can lead to headliner sag, and "other problems. "

A used sunroof motor with 1 year warranty is around $75 on eBay and I would love to DIY but I'm still trying to figure out why he needs those fillister head screws if I'm replacing the motor in the top panel (where the lights are). I also understand there is some coding required to make this work right even after replacing the motor. If anyone has any assistance on that it would definitely help.

Here are the codes my vehicle is showing. Says hall sensors 1 and 2 do not respond. Still scratching my head on what needs to be replaced that requires moving the headliner.
