That’s perfect. It’s crazy because I received some other pics of 535xi with h&r springs and the drop looked nothing like this.

I commented at Posts #25 & #28 here. That post also contains some more gratuitous pictures.

Overall, you notice the springs because they transmit more of what the suspension is doing. This gives more steering feel and certainly better turn-in response to corners. I also can corner faster than on the stock springs. On the other hand, bumps are mildly more noticeable but not by much. Now that I've had the springs for a year, I'd have a hard time describing the increase in bumps over stock - it is more subtle and not really pronounced.

The ride quality is so much better now. I dont have the feeling of turn over my car when I take some corners or curvy roads. There is no like jittery feeling that some might expect, just feel more planted. The only thing is that its lowered slowing down on bumps and even going sideways becomes a regular thing.

Nice i have H&r springs sitting in my trunk that I'm waiting to install. Do you find yourself bottoming out on bumps more often than before? I have about a 100 pound subwoofer enclosure in my trunk and bottom out now on hard bumps or huge dips. And I'm on non sport xdrive. Doesn't have often but when it does happen it sounds crazy! Whole car gets hit with the loud thump that sounds like it's gonna break

Install them!

Well yes and no. You do have to kind of change your driving style after you have springs on. My previous car was a slammed out C300 and most of friend's cars are lowered so I'm used to driving like it. You'll learn the art of driving a lowered car:
  • You have to slow down for speed bumps and some of them even go sideways (I do especially because of my front lip).
  • Parking your car somewhere else because you cant go up the curb or driveway due to angle.
  • Avoiding potholes while driving, constantly.
  • Probably a few more I'm missing.

Gotcha! Well I should be fine adapting changes to my driving but I don't drive too crazy to begin with. Only on flat roads lol. I just got my wheels powder coated a few months back and they look so purtyyyyyyy so I'm always on pothole avoidance mode anyway
