I had some Tenzo-Shuz back in my import days and those 3 piece wheels are actually a 1 piece. It Looks like a 3 piece but it's not. They do attach are screw the rivets on which I think is what makes it look like a 3 piece

They are actually 1-piece wheels. The only modular part is the stainless polished steel lip. However it can't be detached anymore once manufactured. I specially asked Breyton in Stockach/Germany regarding that. They told me the lip is pressed and clinched to the rim. So you can't replace it. Meaning there is no excuse if you hit or kiss a road kerb with the wheel. 😣
That is absolutely the biggest downside of those monoblock wheels. |

Yes it is. The H&R is currently the only spring (in Germany) with that reasonable lowering rate. Others are either too low or too high, or too high at the front and too low at the rear.
But be careful: with the same H&R you may get another (unsatisfactory) result when it is not 550 due to the lighter curb weight! |

That's a stunning looking interior. Kind of reminds me of Alpina.

I don't think so. Because the overall diameter of the 21" wheels is hardly bigger than the 19". Moreover even with the original 19" it already looks quite progressive. I rather believe the higher downforce of the motor has contributed a bit to the nice look ;-) For the given specified lowering rate H&R has another article number for 550i. I've been seeing H&R with the exact same lowering rate for other F10 (e. g. 520d or 530d or M550d) with the obviously and visibly far more moderate drop. Man, you don't see many 550i's in Europe. And hell, not even many F10's that clean looking. Wheels might be too big for me (I can't imagine how 21" look on 5er's) but the drop is enough and color/interior combo is unique and classy at the same time.
You just need less 120km/h sections on the Autobahn to fully enjoy the sheer thrust of the V8, don't you.

As for 550is o yes, I did see lots of them in Germany as I am a member of one the biggest BMW community in Germany Some of them look also jaw-droppingly nice. No, mine is definitely not the only clean looking one. 21" on 5 series looks just fine IMHO. Admittedly it is quite funny with the F10's size. Whereas the 20" definitely looks too moderate, the 21" blows up a little bit. The nicest proportion I've got with my Bimmers was actually the E39 with 19". By the way you can have a look on lots of gorgeous F10/11 with 21" in this great forum. |

Another reason why I'm going with 21's! It just takes the overall appearance to another level. Granted rolling on 21's u gotta watch for potholes

I can only imagine driving your 5 on the Autobahn! My German driving experience is limited; however, I thought the Autobahn was very smooth. Your car looks great!
