2012 F10 Ambient lighting

Hi,

Just bought my second 5 series which is a 530D MSport 2012. Came with a host of extras one of which is Ambient interior lighting. Is there a way of dimming or turning up the lights of the Ambient lighting on my model?

Thanks

I believe with the CIC it's only adjustable with the cluster dimming switch.

Old thread I know. I had my car updated to the latest iStep version yesterday and noticed my ambient lighting is brighter in the doors. Before I had to have my gauge lights on full bright but I can finally turn the lights down and still see the ambient lighting on the doors. Cool.

Not much to share. I took my car to the dealership and for $225 they upgraded the entire cars software. It takes several hours but I definitely see and feel differences.

interesting, i didn't know you could do this as a paid for service.

The dealership upgraded my software last summer due to a few issues,

the main enhancement i noticed, was now when you turn on the heated steering wheel, you see a notification in the instrument cluster, instead of just the little yellow light on the side of the steering wheel...
