Item Interest
Hi fellows,
I’m upgrading to F15 X5 got few items for sale:
APEX ARC-8 19X8.5" ET20 Square Black Rotary Forged Concave Lightweight Wheels with
245/40/19 BFGoodRich G-Force Comp-2 A/S UHP All-Season non run-flat tires with BMW OEM TPMS sensors.
The wheels and tires are in great condition, only used for few months. Zero curb rash. Paid well over $2000 for wheels + tires + sensors + mount & balance. As you guys know Apex ARC-8 are extremely lightweight and durable wheels. The total weight for wheel with tire+sensor is 46.7 lbs compare it to my current setup - OEM style 331 19” wheels which are 65.1 lbs. per wheel with tire+sensor. That’s over 18 lbs weight saving per wheel, believe me you will feel the difference driving. Also since those wheels have lower offset they will be flush with the fenders, so no spacers needed (see pictures). No rubbing issues even with 5 adults in my stock 2011 535i.

Tires still have probably 95-99% tread life left as only used them for few months. Those tires are rated 2nd best by Tirerack in Ultra High Performance All-Season category. I decided to get those tires after reading many great reviews and Tirerack test results. Absolutely love those tires, excellent wet & dry traction and much more comfortable than OEM run-flat Goodyears. Also they supposed to have really good snow traction for our New England winters, but unfortunately never got change to test them.

TPMS sensors are from 2013 750li worked great on my 2011 535i.

Price $1,150 for wheels with tires and sensors. Local pick-up preferred near Springfield, MA or Hartford, CT.

Wheels are sold.
But to answer your question: the lower offset is more the wheel will stick out and will be flush with the fenders. So ET20 is like ET33 (stock F10 offset) with 13mm spacers. So pictures you see above is ET20 mounted with no spacers.
FYI, I personally don't like spacers due to extra weight and possible vibrations at higher speeds (past bad experience).

I know this is an old post but just came across it by doing research on wheels and tires fitments for my 13 f10 xdrive. That set up looks good, I like it, but was your car lowered when you took this pictures, is it sport suspension or non M suspension.
I just bought the same set up curva concepts c7 19x8.5 et 20 on 245/40, was thinking about 255/40 but I was suggested not to do so with this set up. Hopefully it will look as nice as yours
Cheers man.
