World Car of the Year
Winner: Nissan Leaf
Runners up: BMW 5 Series, Audi A8

Nissan Leaf will prob go on and win every award going this year due to it being full electric....

But nice to see our 5 Series came 2nd !

Nissan Leaf isn't a real car. It looks terrible, there's no where to charge the buggery thing up, and you will end up stranded in the middle of nowhere in no time at all.

Car of the year - preposterous!

I agree. I don't believe the electric car scenario is going to go anywhere here in the US anytime soon. Too much initial cost and no charging stations available with the possibility of brown and blackouts if many people bought them. Hey, you're either using crude oil or coal --- both fossil fuels.

It's a moral victory for the 5 series. In a post event random fuel test, the Leaf was disqualified for not actually being a car... Turned out it was an iPod on steroids!!!
