351 M wheels or aftermarket (Niche Targa)?

Hi All,

I need help and your opinions will help me in my decision. My car is the base model f10 535xdrive. I am currently entertaining a used set of 351 M wheels without TPMS and Caps at a fair price of $700. The rims need some work and have slight rash on all of them but I feel price is reasonable.

My dilemma is that I can also pick up some niche targa wheels brand new for the same price... since my car is not an msport, maybe I should look into aftermarket? or should I stay OEM...

please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,
Patrick

Niche Targa wheels for $700??? I think it depends on the overall look you are going for on your car. If you want a clean, stock look, then go with the 351's. Custom aftermarket look, go with the Niche's. But if you go with the Niche's, please go with 20" and not 19".

The Targas go for around 700 for the 19in at a local shop around here.

I can't spring for 20s due to the bad roads here..

I live in NYC as well. Plenty of us NY'ers are running 20's. If you are going to go with 19's, I would recommend staying with an OEM wheel.

You'll probably kick yourself a few months later if you went the route of 19's for aftermarket.

Just hold out for some decent aftermarket 20's, or stick with OEM 19's.

I would go 20 but I am not dropped and it just wouldn't look right to me with that gap..

I'm going with the 351 m wheels instead. thanks
