DVD in motion feed to rear screens

So now most of us have dvd in motion has anyone looked at splitting the feed to rear screens so the kids can watch as well??

I'm new at this and also wondering.....does the normal DVD playback from the front drive have any support for video feed to the back? Or is that a standalone player? Logically, a DVD loaded in the front drive should be viewable on rear screens especially when the stock system does not allow the video display in-motion on the front screen.

Paul, I think that less than 5% of all F10s have the OEM rear entertainment set.

I dont have them either but thought it maybe a cheap and easy solution to split the video feed to the rear and fit aftermarket screens.

Given that these cars are so new there is limited info on the net. Looks like i will have to investigate this on my own and see if it is doable. if not prob easier and cheaper to stick in 2 ipads and use them.
