Hi Guys,
Usually a member of the F30 forum, but my brother is highly interested in buying a 530d M Sport. He has been looking at an AUC 2012/13 for around £28k... Looking at broadspeed.com it doesn't make sense when you can get a new one with £9k discount. Can anyone recommend a good dealer who's willing to offer a good chunk of discount? Or if they're kind enough to share the discount percentages they're currently getting? We're based in South west London, but happy to travel around for a good deal. Any info is really appreciated |

Those discounts usually factor in the BMW UK contribution amongst other things. Some of those deals are dependent on you taking out BMW Finance.
I just picked up a F11 Luxury with a 17.5% by asking the dealer to match carfile.net (no longer doing BMW - strange as they were a couple of months ago). The dealer was Stephen James in Bromley and they were happy to oblige. Also have a look at Coast to Coast cars http://www.coast2coastcars.co.uk. They are coming up slightly cheaper than Broadspeed for my car. This thread might be helpful. http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1059673 Last edited by WillieMaykit; 11-23-2014 at 02:44 AM.. Reason: Added text about carfile.net no longer doing BMW |

@WillieMaykit Hi Paul, thank you for the info, I work in Bromley and my car has been in a few times to Stephen James, I will pay them a visit and speak to their sales.
I live surrounded by Coopers, will see who can do me a deal better. Based on Broadspeed.com prices, the base car is sitting at 21% discount, without the addition of options. Any idea if such discount is usually applied to options? |

Normally they will apply the discount off the final price(optioned up).

The discount on options can vary. The deals that the brokers offer have differing discounts on options.
I would simply spec up the precise car you want. Send the spec (or the configurator link) to various dealers by email and ask for their best price. State when you will be placing the order, and how you will be paying (PCP details or plain cash). Then let the battle commence! |

|I wish I got 22% when I ordered mine.
Ordered mine early 2012 and got 12% off Retail price was around £55000 and got it for around £49000 (figures are off the top of my head) The discount may depend upon whether you are getting finance or not as well. |

You shouldn't expect them to give it up on a first date. Need to work at it.

jaimey - Shopping around post Boxing Day may help secure a better deal. It's end of quarter.
If you have done the test drive and are happy with the car and the specification, there is nothing stopping you shopping further afield. Give them a call and see what they are willing to do Last edited by WillieMaykit; 12-20-2014 at 01:32 AM.. |

You'll find that most franchises are working towards Q1 numbers now. 2014 is all done and dusted. That was the case with franchise I dealt with. I'd go back to your dealer telling them you've been offered 22% off the on the road price including service pack, £4500 from BMW and the rest made up by the franchise.
Good luck |

Just before going away got a mail from the dealer we bought our 3 from saying their sale starts on the 27th, so will drop them a line.

Hi There, I got sorted out by my other local dealer, thanks for the offer...
I'm musing with selling my Elise and getting a 135iM in a few months so I'll keep you in mind.
