Model number? Need to confirm fitment. Does this convert everything to Apple CarPlay?

Few notes:
Have not tested with 2012 (If it has CIC probably not) and this is just the touchscreen. To get full carplay it requires the nbt evo unit (my other ad).

I'm using CarPlay from Joyeauto on my NBT (2013). Can I replace just this screen to get the touchscreen feature, or would I need the complete system you're also selling? Not a computer guy.

Not familiar with the solution from Joyeauto. That's more a question for them if they support touchscreens.

Folks, this screen is perfect for anyone upgrading to NBT EVO setup. This WILL NOT work with NBT or CIC headunits, which means it will NOT work with any F10 with original factory navigation setup nor with any external Car Play unit.

So anyone who is trying to piece together their own NBT EVO setup, instead of shelling out ~$3k to one of the vendors out there... this would be a good option to go with to save on cost.

If I already have NBT Evo non touchscreen, will I need coding after adding this for touchscreen capability?

Yes, fdl coding is needed:

APIX2

CID_APIX_MODE = APIX2 was apix1
CID_COM_MODE = MMI was spi
CID_COLOR_DEPTH = 24bit was 18
CID_RESOLUTION = 1440_540 (might also be CID_DISPLAY_RES) was 1280x480
CID_DISPLAY_SIZE = 10_25
DISPLAY_VARIANTE = breites_display
DISPLAY_SIZE_RESOLUTION = 10.25_1440x540 was 10.25_1280x480
DIMMUNGSVARIANTE alte_dimmung was neue dimmung
