The power from your M3 will be replaced by massive amounts of torque. Probably a good tradeoff. Your real issue is going to be how much softer the suspension and ride will feel compared to the M.

i will send the pics after the weekend.
i had m dynamic on the m. where i could set the suspension on comfort or sport.
on the 535d i dont have that setting. but im sure with the m pack it wont be too soft.
any way i do enjoy a softer setup sometimes, especially when the roads are bumby and have potholes.

im hoping to enjoy a more comfortable car that can also to the "jekyll & hydd" bit.

Welcome - I'm ex-SA (JHB) - now living in Chicago and Seattle - I just picked up my 550 in June.....came from an E90 JB3 335 - undoubtedly the e90 was more 'tossable', but that where it ends - everything else on the F10 is better...

Thanks for yeah info.

Yeah 677 it is 16speakers but from reading around I am a still in vain to understand if its a quality system or not. I guess I will have to find out when my car arrives.

Sounds good, but I think that's a bit optimistic.
My 535d runs app. 700 km on average on a full tank.

I know from experience that you do have some excellent roads in SA but unless you can guarantee never to venture off those I'd suggest you stick with the standard 18" wheels. There is a good reason why they are standard.
