Re: buying a full exhaust

I'm going to buy an full exhaust. I'm not doing headers. How do I know if I have a slip on or a bolt on? Does anybody have pictures of the slip on and the bolt on so I know which one I have? Thanks.

Its very easy to tell which one you have, just get under the car and look at where the downpipes end..you'll have 1 bolt holding the catback if its slip on, or you'll have 2 bolts if its a flange type...just grab a picture of it and post here..we'll be able to tell you.

My 2011 550 has the slip on type...but that doesnt mean yours will too.
