TPMS change in 2014

According to the Dinan TPMS spec sheet, BMW changed the TPMS sensors in 03.2014 to 36 10 6 798 872 from the previous generation 9.2010 to 2.2014 part number 36 10 6 856 227. Other than swapping the sensors, is there anything else that can be done to make the new part number work on a 2013 550i? If I need to swap out the old for the new, is it worth taking my old ones off, which will require a dismount/remount on two sets, or buy new ones? I read that it's possible to change TPMS without a dismount, but not sure if it is possible with runflats due to the stronger sidewall.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

The TPMS sensors on my new wheels were wrong, they were for the 3 and 4 series.
However, does anyone know if both the 227 and 872 parts will work on a 2013? I haven't found any definitive answers. Thanks
