Dinan s3 550gt vs bms 550xi

Something tells me this is another Dinan car that did not get the tune installed correctly...

and this is of how it looks from front

Dinan time is on the left my time is on the right, we ran about 6 times and it's the same outcome.

seems like Dealers do not install the software correctly, this is not the 1st car.

Hey guys

Yes that was my GT. The tune was not working apparently, so technically it was a stock GT.

I will be speaking with DINAN today on this issue, I am very upset.

i would be furious and not upset, id drive to dealer and start doing karate on the technicians.

How the hell would you not know that the tune just wasn't there?? The difference between any of the Dinan tunes vs stock is significant.

From what I understand, he had stage 2, upgraded to stage 3, but stage 3 wasn't installed properly and is really running stock. He should have easily been able to "feel" the difference when the tune went away.

yeah when i installed BMS i felt it right away the car became more responsive it was a day and night.

i guess Dinan increase in stages is so minor people don't feel it ?

I had the same experience as you when I went from stock to Dinan Stage 2. Day and Night. He should have at least noticed that something was different between stage 3 and stock right? Something seems fishy.

1. someone did not install Dinan correctly.
2. It was never installed and dealer kept the money.

if that happen to me idk know what i would do to others around me. lol

i hope you get it sorted. make them pay for your track day too. OR SUE THEM FOR THE PUBLIC HUMILIATION!!! LOL

Well, after getting Stage 3, we honestly didn't drive as much. On the drive up to the strip, it felt not as fast as usual, but I thought it was just me.

But after seeing the 1/4 mile times are the exact same as stock, I was very dissapointed.

I had read your previous review when you got the stage 3 that you felt the difference pretty dramatically (in a good way).....did the tune go away? did you do any work on the car that would alter the tune? Just curious since my car is tuned and would want to be careful to ensure that the tune does not disappear. Just curious...hope it all gets sorted out.

i go in to manual mode with paddles on launch and then let the car shift.
