Opinions wanted

Need some opinions guys/gals. Let me start by saying I like the OEM+ look and my goal for this car is to build a clean, OEM+ F10. I want my car to look modded to a trained eye, but look like some sort of special edition straight from the factory to someone that doesn't know any better. With that said, I have a set of 20" Style 303M's from the F01 7 series M Sport. I sent them out to get refinished as they had some minor bends and some curb rash. I had some miscommunication with the wheel shop and they refinished the wheels in hypersilver instead of standard silver. They are willing to redo them for free, but are letting me keep them for a week before deciding. At first I was sure I wanted to redo them in factory silver, but now I am a bit torn. Let me k ow what you think. First two pics are before pics, second two are after.

I actually love it Bake It looks more like a Tint to a Dark Tint which gives it an even sportier look. If you're wanting a Sexed Up OEM look then I think you have achieved it.

I'd like to see a side shot out in the sun similar to the first shot

I might be in minority here, but I like the first two pictures the most.

To me it just looks better but also fits better with silver trim on door handles and glass "marker" above the rim which is kinda silverish.

Thank you all for the feedback so far. I really appreciate everyone giving their thoughts. Right now I am leaning towards getting them redone to factory silver as I originally intended.

I too am likely in the minority and I'm not a fan of dark wheels. OEM factory silver looks better in my humble opinion.

Really? The OEM just looks OEM! I think with the tint it just looks SWEET and makes it a bit more sportier! It matches the window tints!

stick with the hyper silver.

works better with the tints and overall look you are trying to achieve.

It's funny. I posted the same on the FB 5 Series page and the majority there prefers OEM silver. It has been interesting to get everyone's feedback and I appreciate it all. I really want to weigh all the good and bad points and can't think of them all myself.

I think you went over the "OEM" look when you put the black on the roof/side mirrors and thus the Hyper silver looks really good.

Im my opinion these are "Grand tourers" and your look is now more sporty. Your look is Fitting for smaller car.
You asked, I'm offering my opinion, and my opinion is not important.

Where Im coming from:
The original M5 was understated and a "sleeper". In europe the reason for debadgeing, and why some sleeper cars were not visually much different was to not be conspicuous. The larger the displacement in the engine the higher the tax as well as consumption of petro, which of course put out more pollution. All adds up that many did not want to broadcast their cars as higher performance variants. This is a different attitude than we have in the U.S. In a class society as ours we like to differentiate ourselves and broadcast our success by our cars as well. I am guilty of this even though Im coming off as pompous. Most car manufactures have removed their "sleeper" status by adding more and more bits to its cars to make them special. Take it ever further, we must even now elevate our Msports to gain even more status? Some of you are very motivated by appearance (I said some, not all) and many car what others think. This keeps some of us in check as not to put too many M rainbows on our cars. Saw a dude the other day driving a very new 7 series with the rainbow on the grill and an M performance badge on the back. I guess going for the ALPINA look would be over his buddy's heads?

Msports are mostly cosmetic other than the stiffer suspension.

Perhaps it sounds like I should have gotten a pre LCI with the sport package instead of Msport and any mods be that that add performance. I tried. Could not find the right car. Its a manual transmission car which is hard enough to find. Im not crazy mine is black either. Prefer boring gray.

OP, do what you like and what makes you feel comfortable. Your car looks awesome!!! Its a form of self expression which is never a terrible thing.

I've always been a fan of lighter color rims, especially when a car is tinted. With that said, it still looks great in hyper silver!
