Aftermarket wheels installation

Hey guys, I recently purchased a 535 xdrive 2011. It came with stock 18 inch original bmw mags. Previously, I had a 525xi 2006 and had 19 inch M6 replica mags on it. Only used hub centric rings to fill the hub space difference and the driving was great, but there was some vibration when I would press the break, probably because I did not use spacers. I really lack knowledge/experience in terms on wheels installation, and I was wondering if I needed spacers if I install the 19 inch rims on the 535xdrive f10.

The f10 came with 245 45 18 tires, and the 19 inch mags Id like to put on are 245 40 19 with Pirelli Cinturatto tires.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

The numbers you posted are the tire sizes. Whether you'll need spacers or not will depend on the width and offset of the 19" wheels. Also, are you planning of going with a staggered setup (wider rear than front, example: front 245/40/19 and rear 275/35/19)? We would need to know the width/offset of the wheels first before we can answer your question.

Sorry about that, as you can notice im a total noob. Lol okay so what i learned after doing a little research is that my car came with stock 8x18 ET30 (on goodyear 245 45 18).
The 19 inch mags that id like to put on are 8.5x19 ET35 (on pirelli 245 40 19). I am not planning on having a staggered setup as I clearly wouldnt know how yet lol. And also I wanna make good use of these 4 19 inch mags+tires I already own Thanks for your help!

OEM 19" F10 wheels are 8.5x19 ET33, that means your wheels with ET35 will only sit 2mm more inwards.

Thank you for your replies. Would you recommend I do anything? Will this mod require spacers or am I good to go?

2mm won't be noticeable but if you want a little bit more aggressive, you can probably do a set of 5mm spacers, if anything, in the rear. I'd recommend that you get the wheels mounted and then take a look at the front/rear profile and judge for yourself. Your taste may differ from the recommended offsets. Some people like their wheels tucked in, others like them flushed and there are those that like them sticking out where you can set your coffee cup on. Personally, I would just save the money and use them as is.

I agree with you 100%, Im probably just going to mount em as is, and if anything looks bad ill rectify later. What's important for me is that there is no mismatch or spacing issue with the suspension struts. Thank you ndinh !
