Any Parents w/ F10 & Stokke Xplory stroller?
Hi everyone!
Am a proud parent to be of a new baby come January so in the process of decking out my F10 528 M sport with all the necessary baby accessories.... So naturally looking at baby strollers and have narrowed in on the uber cool designed Stokke Xplory stroller. Any parents on this board have this stroller and any knowledge if it fits into the trunk when folded? By measurements (22x19.5x34 inches WxHxL) it would appear to fit, but incase there are any nuances or awkwardness of the folded shape that would prevent it from fitting? Any advice or info appreciated! Thanks in advance! |

Congrats on the new baby!
We have the combination F10 / Stokke Xplory as well. No worries, it will fit in the trunk easily, especially if you separate the cot from the undercarriage. You're right, the design is uber cool, we got a lot of attention in different cities like Singapore, Stockholm and Hamburg (this stroller seems to be quite rare in most places). I wouldn't recommend the Xplory for use on bumpy surfaces like cobble stones areas in old city centers. Because it has no springs, you could risk a shaken baby. We could ask the the moderator to start a special BMW /baby stuff forum?

Buy a seat with a snap in base. Like Graco or others. Buy one base for each car. Buy a cheap base "basket" stroller like I posted above. It really is all you need. My wife INSISTED on this huge Graco Quattro Tour stroller for our first kid. We sold it after he was born and didn't buy another with our second. You really don't need those big fancy strollers. They are hard to manouver, tend to be fragile, and take up the WHOLE trunk. Spending $1k on a stroller is insane. You don't need it. It's not worth it, trust me. |

Thanks everyone for the advice!
This make me more comfortable when ordering some of these bigger more elaborate strollers on line... Maybe we really should get the moderators to start a baby/family section?!?! |

You have to try any of the baby jogger city strollers
I have twins and we have the city select, so two seat, folded fits nicely Still space for few suitcases, and a dipper bag Its also great on cobble stones, larger wheels and suspension. Good luck

We have the Quinny Buzz 4 and Zapp. The Buzz 4 attaches to the Maxi Cosi base and infant carrier which snaps into the Stroller. The stroller has a suspension and is comfortable for the baby. The Quinny Buzz 4 folds and unfolds with a hydraulic mechanism. The Quinny Zapp is basically a mini version of the Buzz 4 that folds smaller than most umbrella strollers. One caveat it doesn't recline like the Buzz 4. But it is small enough to fit into the trunk of my Mini. Jr. has since graduated to a full size car seat. I really like the stroller you speak of, as well as the Orbit. We just felt that the Quinny was a better over all buy. Pictures of the Zapp attached..link to Buzz 4 below. http://www.quinny.com/ot-en/strollers/urban-use/buzz-4

These small strollers are fine if you never leave the tarmac. We use our Urban Jungles features of going on rough surfaces every week. We do walks i. The forest, we go to the beach etc and the you need bigger wheels.

F10 owner with UppaVista stroller for my 9 months old. He's been using that since day one. It takes up good room in the trunk but since you are having a newborn, I would suggest you get a good stroller rather than worrying about space saving at the moment. I can take a few pics of it tonight in the trunk if you are still shopping. PM me
