Best phone for BMW Office?
I'm looking to replace my Samsung Galaxy S4 (at&t) and was wondering which phone will give me the most BMW Office Integration.
Thanks. |

Thanks for the response, I checked the BT matrix and it seems that only the older BB devices (Curve/Bold) do have support for calendar and notes.
I wonder if BMW is just abandoning BT Office. |

Prob. not. They also need the other party to collaborate to support integration. Then there are phases of testing with the devices, network carriers etc.
And that's correct: the infotainment system in BMW (and many other cars) is based on a variant of linux and software made by a company QNX, which is a subsidiary of Blackberry. It is possible and tempting to explain the better functionality. But who knows... I have thought many times about buying a BB phone + cradle and adding on a line to my plan for a cheap monthly fee and simply leaving the phone in the car to use while on the move. A dedicated device just for emails etc. to get the best integration with iDrive. Side question: anyone on here uses the Google Nexus 5 with a 2014 year model? |
