I just picked up my 'used' 2012 535 Xi (133km) last Friday. These tires look like they will fit and are of interest to me. My retired 08 535i needed snows for sure but I'm on the fence whether an Xi with new all-season rubber will need snows for at least one year. Anyone, including OP, tried it without?

They are the prescribed winter set for 535 & 550.
All season tires are still no match, in terms of safe braking, to the winter. Just my opinion. If you are intereted, you can make me an offer. |

You have until about the 1st week of September to decide. If there is no taker by such time, they will be given to the dealer (on the day I pick up my new ride), swapping them with dealer credit or $
If you want to see them in person. Just give me PM and I can arrange to meet you at a coffee shop for you to check them out. No pressure to buy, of course. |

Fair enough. I'm in downtown Toronto so we could meet somewhere to view, etc. I'll have made up my mind by late August. I turned in my 17" Michelin X-ice with my trade as a sweetener and didn't need them. Don't your tires fit your new ride, the M5 you mentioned?

The M5 needs 19" to clear the brake. My dealer has already called BMW Canada and BMW Germany to see if the 18" will fit and they both came back negative.

Another bump.
These wheels/tires set will be available up to Labor day (Sep 3), if not sold by then, the set will be sold to the dealer when I pick up my new ride on the week of Sep 3. Thanks for looking. |

This is a good setup at a good price...too bad I'm not in need of a winter setup.
