Cheap auto shipping companies

I am trying to get a car from coast to coast. Anyone have any experience with freight or trucking companies?

Cheap will be DAS and they will treat your car like shit. Will never use them again.

Good and reliable will be Intercity Lines. They will put a car cover inside the sealed transporter. Very reputable.

+1 on Intercity Lines, but I've heard a couple stories about them too. I guess there's really no 100% guarantee, but you get what you pay for with auto transport services.

You get what you pay for. I've used a few different companies with varied results, but at all cost avoid companies that will broker your car (load) out to other (3rd party) carriers. 'Cause if something goes wrong- you'll have a hellava time finding the person(s) responsible.

(I'm a Dispatcher for a trucking company so I know first hand.)
