Air Conditioning in 523i vs 528i concerns
Hi everyone. Firstly I'd like to say that i really find this forum great, especially with all the helpful feedback and wonderful users.
I jsut got the car and it should be arriving in a few days, and loved every bhit of it. I'm just posting here to voice some concerns? or to get some clarification because of a few comments i got regaridng my choice of 523i vs 528i I'm a new F11 523i owner and was just wondering if there were any major issues with the air conditioning system in teh 523i vs the 528i? In terms of engine size/power, would having the less powerful engine affect the climate control or air conditioning capability of the car? A/C can be an issue here in Kuwait where it gets very hot all throughout the summer, so people here are a bit paranoid about a car that isnt a mobile meat freezer... I'll try to get some pics once it arrives... and thanks!!! |

Good question!
Compressor may be different for the different motor but I'd safely assume that all f10s share the same a/c components to reduce cost and manufacturing Complexity. |

No issues so far with the A/C on the 535i... it's pretty cold... but then again the real test is the screeching august heat.
congratulations on the new car! |

Hi, congratulation on your new car...
I live in Kuwait and I am expecting my 523i (space grey) after 3 weeks.. So how did you find the car's engine performance? Any remarks on the AC.. After reading some posts, I got confused if I need to upgrade to the 528i.. |

i have a 528i and have been comfortable on a few mid-90 F days we've had here and with very high humidity too. I think you will be okay. I also have my windows tinted too which helps alot!
