Yup. If they paint it in advance then they must be confident that it fits well

I got mine on ebay, fairly cheap... fitment was pretty good, my side skirts dont sit 100% correct but I have overlooked it, front bumper aligned pretty good with my PDCs as well and so did the rear bumper, only one PDC is a tiny bit crooked down but hardly noticeable to others.
I paid like 900? and then 300$ painted and installed at a local shop who i've known for a while.

Depending on where you're located, I found my Mtech front on CL, painted and installed for $575. They even credited me $100 for my old bumper. These are brand new. I bought my sides on ebay for $100, painted for another $200 and installed myself. I'd say fitment is almost perfect for front and sides. Also keep in mind that, for example, a #300 Alpine white may not be a perfect match if it's pre-painted. The colors are slightly different for the model year and region where the car was built/sold. The guy took my gas lid to match my paint.

I would never buy a pre-painted bumper. Ever. Paint won't be a good match. And who knows what paint/clear they used. For example there are 6 different shades of Space Grey Metallic (A52) that BMW used in 2011, you won't be able to tell what exact shade you have unless you get it matched at a paint supply store or have the color cards available.
Buy it primered and get it painted by a reputable shop. My aftermarket M5 bumper doesn't fit nearly close to OEM but it's manageable. |

so pretty much from what you can see from fellow members that there are some minor modifications needed with an aftermarket bumper. if you don't want to pay full price for a new OEM bumper i've seen OEM bumpers on ebay go for pretty cheap with just minor repair...but at least it will fit spot on!

My kit is from Trinity a sponsor on this forum. Although a bodyshop did the paint and install, they didn't indicate they had issues and it looks like an OEM fit.
