I'm new here and have been browsing around for a few weeks now. Great forum! I recently purchased a Certified Pre Owned 2015 550i xDrive, with the M Sport package. Looking for feedback and suggestions on what to do next? Do I continue with cosmetic, or do I go with performance mods? I'm looking for your suggestions!!

Here is what I have done so far:

- 35% Formula One Pinnacle tint, 4 side windows and back
- Gloss black stock wheels and grille from the BMW dealership where I purchased
- Gloss black "Shadow-Style" 550i Badges from Bavarian autosport
- Gloss Black Fender Trim from **********s
- Gloss Black professionally painted door handle trim inserts
- Smoke reflectors from Bimmian
- Debadge xDrive
- ///M LED projector door lights from Amazon
- Aluminum Pedal covers from Amazon

I would do the 90c thermostat mod if you can. Save you a lot of trouble later

on my work computer and i don't see anything but as far as mods it's really up to you on whether you want to continue with cosmetics or performance or both

See id keep the badge, fender inserts in chrome, to match the chrome tailpipes, and do the door inserts and bumper indicator blanks in silver. But thats just me and thats why its cool to keep seeing new color combos that make things more unique. NIce choice on the grille / on silver car a must I think.

You need an M5 spoiler on there. You can easily find a genuine used one already painted on the M5 classified section for real cheap.

Ah, tails are black, then cool!

Ive ditched the black rims now and going to 19s in silver and with double slat gloss black M5 kidneys and chrome surrounds, so very classic... plus repainted the callipers in dark gray, which I highly recommend everyone - callipers look like shit on our cars and painted they really stand out.. I just didnt care for black out look as much after half a year, yet the F11 looked mighty with 20s in black.

I got mine through the classifieds here from an M5 owner in excellent condition for something like $150 (would have cost me +$450 new with paint). All I had to do was remove old 3M double sided tape and put some new. Line it up evenly with trunk, press down, hold it down with masking tape overnight, all done.

As for color, it's highly subjective. I opted for keeping it Alpine White to match my car and think it'll look best with my carbon fiber diffuser (once I get around to installing it).

I considered this color also but too flashy for me... Then thought why not and go this sparkling brown even... thank god I didnt as the latter would look like some nice glossy rust caliper

. Very happy with bluestone metallic as on G30 5 series. on dull day they are nice shiny gray, on sunny day they got that bluish hue. I thought it was a nice nod to BMW blue brakes on performance cars, but I got the regular old wagon so bright blue was out of the question.

Given all the black accents on my car I'm leaning toward gloss black. But would like to hear your thoughts!!
