F10 535i aftermarket Chargepipe install Diy
anyone have a diy for this? disconnecting the charge pipe from the throttle body was pretty easy but the hardest part was to disconnect it from the intercooler piping/hose giving the fact that the space of the engine bay is so confined. So I gave up and just put everything back to normal, I searched everywhere but the diy guides are usually for other n55 cars. If anyone has experience with the install feel free to chime in.

tw4life , it should be very easy on the N55.
Unless as you are mentioned that the screw is positioned on the bottom. But, as I remember, the screw should be facing upward. If you can post the picture, I may be able to help you. I did a few of them and it took me about 20-30 minutes on the F10 N55.

I can feel the screw underneath this hose but I'm unable to fit a screw driver underneath because it is really cramped, giving me no room. I tried twisting this hose to see if there would be any play so the clamps would come loose but no luck. I was told early f10 535i have different charge pipes making it harder to install. This car is an 2011 that was build aug 2010.

tw4life , hmm, that is the first I saw the screw head is actually facing the bottom.
Does the new aftermarket chargepipe came with the new clamp? If it does, just cut that original one as you don't need it anymore. Or you can disconnect from the front of the hose and work from there using a socket wrench.

It should come apart just by pulling them.

Letvus know if it worked out. There should be an improvement with this charge pipe right? Or do you actually have to have a tune?
