F10 CF mirror cover cap
Guys,
Any of you use this before? I like to have my mirror turns CF. Thought of wrapping it myself but after buying 5F CF wrap, it's not that glossy that I expect even thou the seller said that is the most glossy you can het right now. Saw some photos of the CF mirror cover, it's glossy like paint. Very nice. But due to the shape, I heard people said it's paint in the *** when you want to take it off. Any input? Thanks |

I'm interested in this as well, but why would the shape be an issue? I've pulled my OEM caps off in like 10 secs many times with no issues. Just grab and pull (one side then the other) a little each time until it's off.

It will be an issue because you install it by 3M tape, this go on top of your OEM, not replacement. And once 3M tape dried up, it's tough. Have you seen people installing the spoiler by 3M tape? It take some force to slice something in between to cut off the 3M adhesive. But the spoiler is easy since you can slice something in between the spoiler and the trunk. This thing, you can't. So you pretty much just have to pull. And that shape....is hard to hold on to

I see, so maybe replacement covers are a better choice.
