Active hybrid quoted 0-62 mph is 5.9.

I have the JB stage 1 with BMS intake and supersprint exhaust.

This was only 1 run I did just now.
I've been using the GTECH Pro for years which measures 0-60 and 1/4 mile and more and it's always been 2-3 tenths off from when I go to the track so I would believe a 5 second 0-60 with your mods.

so the 4.70 is no way achievable imo with what i have at the moment.

jb stage 1
BMS intake
super sprint exhaust

are the mods i have and dpnt forget the extra weight of the hybrid battery, although it does give extra power for a total output of 340 bhp, so in theory the car could be pushing close to 400 bhp with the mods mentioned above.

obviously the only true way to tell is on the dyno, but there isnt any where i live.
Having checked the weight differential on your car vs a 550 it seems highly unlikely that those stats are correct. I'd be going back to BMW on that...
Do you mean the stats for the 550i are off or the stats for the active hybrid?

Your car weighs much more than a 550 (1,690 v 1,925 kg), so even if your power estimates are correct the 0-60 time does not stack up. Therefore I'd assume the app is incorrect, do some more runs and if they come out the same sort of times I'd return it to BMW and say it's not fit for purpose!

I was kind of surprised too, I got this figure from a BMW tech specs sheet but it does seem a lot of extra weight... How many batteries does the active hybrid have?

It's one massive lithium battery pack behind the rear seats. Lose some boot space and can't fold rear seats down either.

The 550i doesn't weight 1690 kg, but 1905 kg, so it's only 20 kg lighter than the hybrid.

Thought it sounded a little off but I took the stats from here

http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicles/5series/sedan/2013/showroom/technical_data/

I was expecting the extra weight of the V8 to counter the weight of the battery and therefore the performance figures to be there or thereabouts...

Two more runs.
Same 4.70 and 4.90.

Car does actually feel that fast tbh.

Anyone able to successfully connect to the app without using the BMW OBDII? I tried the two OBD devices I have and no luck. Keeps asking for a serial number on the device.

You need the serial number from the OBD2 device t enter it on the app to link them.

You won't be able to get the data without the serial number paired to the app.

BMW recommend the 'click and drive' holder - so may look into the cost fo this also.

really just a toy that i probably didnt need especially for £249!!

but always nice to have a few toys in the car.
Did you get it mirrored on the idrive yet?

Not yet, I installed the mirroring but not able to get sounds for example when using a phone Sat Nav App with my cradle in the arm rest, so far disappointed with the service, very little technical help me thinking I was dealing with BMW experts, so noting like the references in the forum as far as I am concerned, maybe is down to our location i.e. Europe verses N. America.

I let you know once I manage to test this, I am just checking the graphics of other OBD2s available on sale.
