Absence of printed manual

Picked up my F10 yesterday. When I got home I found there was no printed manual in the wallet in the glovebox. Called dealer and he looked in the other cars in the showroom and found they had none either. He said he would get me one but it could take time. Has anyone else come up against this problem or is it unique to Ireland?

Having read your posting before picking up my car today I checked with my dealer - Mine is present and he says there should be no problem whatsoever with Irish supplied cars.

My 2011 F10 550i came with a hard copy manual - I think they are all supposed to have it.

edit 1/13/11: The hard copy manual has about 300 pages, and measures 8.25 in x 6.5 in, and is a half inch thick.

Is it a proper manual or a smallish book on the integrated manual?

Hmmm. Here in the US (or at least for me anyway) all I got was a skinny little manual. A slightly more detailed manual is available via the i-drive, and the complete thing is only available via the BMW website as a PDF file.

You should all get a printed Manual that is sized (roughly 5" by 8" and 1/2" thick - just guessing since I don't have it with me right now), along with other small booklets that pertain to the Tire Warranty, Car Warranty, Quick review of the Car, etc. The printed Manual is identical to the PDF Version on BMW's website, although the sites version is probably the most up to date.
