Removing Resonators and Cats on Stock 550i

My friend had his res and cats removed on his e550 and it sounds really good for a car without an aftermarket exhaust. His guy pretty much removed them and welded new pipes in place.

Would i get the same results on the 550i?

I plan on chopping off my resonators soon and replace with an x-pipe and going quad tips soon. I will report back when that happens.
