I can't find the production date on my car.

I dont see it on the vin sticker like every other car I have owned.
F10 535xi is the vehicle in question.

Just ask you dealer. It's very easy to find it on S-gate (BMW intranet program).

Under the bonnet (hood) left handside half way back the will be a black sticker with light grey text. Will say month and year of build

Open driver's door.

look at the door jamb towards the bottom.

There are two labels on the door jamb. Look at the lower one waaaay at the bottom.

This also worked....11/2010 is my date.

So what does this mean....with regards to upgrades things I can do to my car? The pre 9/2010 vehicles are the ones that are screwed right?
