TPMS Won't Reset

So after I had my new wheels and tires installed today, my TPMS would not reset. The installer swapped my factory sensors to the new wheels but the fault won't clear and I keep getting the "cannot communicate due to electronic interference" warning.

Is there something to this other than the normal "stop, reset, drive off" instructions in the owner's manual?

Something to the effect of "Unable to communicate with sensors due to external interference."

Might want to take it back to the installer. It didn't have that message when you drove off? The only message I got was that the TPMS needed to reset. It went away after I drove for a few minutes.

Did not get the error initially, it came on about 30 minutes after I left I guess after continually trying to reset the sensors and unable to do so.

I'd gotten that error before when I hit a pothole and damaged my two front tires. I was able to reset it using the standard procedure although my TPMS would continually trip "offline" because of the impact bubbles on my tires.
