Can you display Cover Art for your music from iphone or itouch?

If so how do you enable it? My 2012 Brochure says it can be done.

Mine has always done it. It takes a few seconds after the song starts but it should show on both "entertainment details" and when you have it showing on the main part of the screen. Just make sure you're trying it with a song that you know you have the cover art for on your ipod/iphone.

are you using just the USB port? I am using a cable from my E90 that connects to usb and aux.

Sorry, didn't see you responded.

Ya I just use USB, or the cradle if it's from my phone. But neither use the aux port, which might be the issue.

From what I have found it cannot display over bluetooth, only via USB.

I have a 2014 535i xDrive and it has always displayed song cover art. I did not have to do anything to make that happen.

That's new for the 2014 5ers. I think it's really cool. I also like how it reconnects to BT automatically (music) after unplugging the lightening cable.
