Well then give the new one to Badblack to test out.

I'll get rid of my BMS if he approves.

Also what's the price on the new version?

We have not set a date yet, it will be in the near future. We are testing it on a vehicle next week.

Price and release date has not been determined yet. Stay tuned and keep following us for updates.

There is not a system like this available on the market currently.

Thank you, Frank Smith has been tuning and building engines for almost 30 years. We are most recently know for our work on BMW's but we tune everything. Porshe, Range/Land Rover, Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW, Mini, Lexus/Toyota, Infiniti/Nissan, and so on. We tune all stand alone EMS systems as well.

Frank is currently on a flight back home from Washington state after tuning a 991 GT3 live. We tune live in house on our AWD data linked load bearing DynoCom dyno in our enclosed climate controlled, sound proof dyno room, remote tuning, and fly out to customers for live tuning.

Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and google Tuning Tech Frank Smith to find out more about us

Hi,

I have to decide soon whether to keep my 2013 550xi...

I believe you mentioned a flash option, any more info on that? This is for N63 cars? I ask because there doesn't seem to be very many flash options for the N63...

Thanks

Hi,

I am sorry if we were unclear but as of now we only have a piggyback option for the 550xi. We will be releasing a newer version of our piggyback system in the near future but at this time we do not have a flash option.

Thank you

The TTFS Race Pack System is an ideal package for anyone looking to upgfrade to the next level. With an amazingly fast 64-bit processor, our Race Pack system communicates with your BMW's DME faster than any other piggyback on the market today. It has an option to configure up to 9 different map settings which are custom configured before shipped out. Generally two maps are set up, one for 91 octane and one for 93 octane. The TTFS Race Pack does not manipulate fuel pressure or knock control hence leaving all the factory safety feature in place for engine protection. It will not throw a check engine light and it may be installed in under and hour. The open loop system allow the Race Pack to be removed in seconds with-out any splicing or cutting. Our extensive testing shows that the Race Pack system outperform the competition of similar set up both on the track and on the dyno!

Performance Specs:
HP Gains: 45+ WHP over stock configuration
Torque: 81+ ft-lbs of torque

Key Features:
-BMW factory-style harness with dedicated hardware for discrete mounting
-When removed, it leaves no trace of installation (no cutting)
-Included bracket for discrete install
-Waterproof housing
-No cutting or wire splicing
-Easy installation

I can check but I do not think we need any independent testing. We have had this out for some time with a lot of testing and units sold.
I will bite... I see this a lot from vendors stating "Outperforms the competition". Id like to know exactly how your module adding boost is any different than any other manufacturers doing the exact same thing since regardless of module, the vehicle will still have the same limitations of how much it can handle before detonation occurs. The only one to step outside the box is Burger with feeding into the IAT sensor to reduce timing at the cost of probable (and likely) driveability related issues for an increase in power, and ESS with the ability to control boost by RPM and also feed into the MAF sensors, which im guessing yours will be very similar to theirs (although theirs has the ability to store 3 tunes and adjust each individually for more or less boost without having to reprogram).

Ive seen the wheel attempted to be reinvented multiple times, but I want to hear why yours rolls better.

Hi Mike,

We actually are a little behind our targeted schedule on our new box as we have a few big projects we are working on. We are now Flashing the new 991 GT3 and GT3 RS as well as the new GT4 We also are now tuning Lexus so our plate is full for sure.

To get to your question. We do not over or under boost, fuel, and timing. Our system is similar to ESS but what makes us different is we can store 6 tunes. Our power curve is linear, and most importantly how we tune against how the ECU is working.

We do not want to speak too much on something that is not released yet. Once we have our product ready we will post detailed information. We are confident it will be a good option in the market not to mention the exceptional customer service that goes along with doing business with us

Its not a dynojet, I believe 360-370whp figures are dynojet figures.

But it picked up 60whp, so I wonder how much boost over stock it was running and also if it was running race gas?
