295/30/20 on 9" wheels

I am planning on mounting new set of pilot 4s on my vehicle on stock 373m wheels at 8.5FR and 9RR width diameter with 255/35/20FR and 295/30/20RR.

I know 295 is not ideal for 9in, but was wondering if anyone here has mounted that width on a 9in wide rim? if so how bad the bulge would be? very noticeable or not? or major safety or other concerns?

Any input would be grateful thank you

Tirerack lists the "recommended rim width" for each size tire on the website. Go to the 4S, look under specs. They recommend a minimum of 10" wheel width for the size you are listing. You might find that a narrower tire on that wheel might also handle better, due to the geometry of the support from the tire bead in relation to the width of the overall carcass.

295/30 is simply too wide for a 9" wheel.

F10 with staggered 19" or 20" wheel option from factory comes with 245 tires on 8.5" wide front wheels and 275 tires on 9" wide rear wheels.
