Drivetrain Malfunction at higher speeds?

2012 550i with Dinan Stage III

I seem to get a Drivetrain Malfunction light when WOT above 110+ mph. It is not conisistent, but about half the times when I am screwing around in the triple digits, the DM light flashes, tells me to drive normally and power cuts off. As soon as I lay off the throttle, the light goes away and drives as normal.

This has happned with the Dinan Stage II. When I took the car in for the Stage III, I mentioned the DM light, but they couldnt find anything wrong.

Any ideas? Or is this a feature?

Take it back to your Dinan dealer. They should fix it or at least tell you what is causing the issue
