2012 535xi MPG?

Hi all,

I am looking to pick up an 535xi in the next few days. Can anyone give me an idea on the average MPG? I know it depends on city/hwy, I will do about 60% city and 40% hwy.... just trying to get an idea.

Any reason not to get the 2012 and order the 2013?

Thanks in advance for your input!

Why do you need four wheel drive living in San Francisco? The two wheel will get you much better MPG.

23-23.5 MPG and I drive normally mostly in Comfort mode. I also drive about 70% highway.

I spend most of the winter in Lake Tahoe. Since I am selling my Escalade to get the 535, I need the AWD.

I am hoping to average around 23-24mpg which will double my current mpg from the Escalade. Spending $250-300 less in gas a month is appealing.

When I do 50/50 highway/city, I get about 21 MPG or so.

2013 come with a much faster/nicer navigation system that is both hardware and software. Unless you are getting a 2012 for close to 10k off msrp I would order a 2013 model. Search around some people on here got insane prices off on the 12's
