For me the wait was one of the most pleasurable part of the experience.

Its the time when you imagine your car, how she will look like, figure yourself at the wheel, how it will feel, re-check all options etc. etc. Its a bit like being in love but not dating yet.

You may have just personified a big difference between Americans and Europeans.

I did a Euro Delivery. If you think the wait is tough for delivery, imagine getting the car, being able to drive it on the roads it was designed for, then having to wait five or six weeks to get it back!! The second wait is DEFINITELY worse.

Hang in there buddy. It was about 5 months wait for me. I was going to the dealer every couple of weeks to look at cars, even did a couple of unnecessary test drives to keep the faith.

I ordered mine in November and it's still in production stage; dealer told me I should get my vehicle in January.

i dont know whats better. having 2 bubbles on the tires within a week and can't drive the car until the tire is replaced this week. merry xmas haha

totally understand... my DSB 550xi took 3-4 months to arrive from order date.

my solution to delivery anxiousness was to have a child due at the same time. my daughter arrived the day before my car, and i can tell you the car was the last thing on my mind.

i won't know till the 28th what my production date/time is... sales attendant went on a small vacation.. not getting encouraged by some of the posts here talking about how long it took to get theirs

might be delayed even more for mine coz of the f30 production...
