License Plate Retractor w Remote

Anybody install those slide out license plates on their f10 ? The ones that come with a remote control?

From what I've been reading, the batteries on the f10 are pretty weak. Will I have any issues wiring up the remote control to the battery ?

These units are not active when not in use so shouldn't have any problem. Unless of course you keep turning it up and down for a long period of time while the engine is not running

They've enough power to turn the engine over in the middle of winter so I don't think the motor your talking about will be much of a problem, particularly if you do it with the engine running

I somehow doubt that a tube of glue will be sufficient but I've never seen one so don't really know what's involved.
