Trustworthy garage in South / West Yorkshire for suspension / exhaust work
Hi there, does anyone have personal experience of using a Garage in the Leeds / Sheffield area for lowering the suspension on a F10/ F11? I'm no expert, but I've read that the rear suspension on the F11 is lowered via reprogramming the computer controlling the air suspension unit (I hope I'm talking sense here).
The consensus seems to be ACS springs on the front. I don't have massively deep pockets, but as I trust the collective wisdom on this group, I'll go with ACS. What I need is a Garage that has done this kind of thing before... I know some amazing guys in Bradford that would "have a look" but they haven't done this before... and now I'm the proud owner of an F11 530d M Sport, I don't want anyone cocking it up! All suggestions very welcome Andy... Next project is a proper quad exhaust with matte black tips...but that's a different post). |

Try these..

They seem to be clued up and offered a cheaper price on tyres and brakes. Worth a ring.

Use the AC Schnitzer UK website to find your local distributor http://shop.ac-schnitzer.co.uk/where-to-order-4-w.asp
They will do the install of the ACS springs for you and I can't imagine them being inexperienced in installing their own springs (and doing the rear lowering to match with the software) |

Great thinking Batman
Looks like two local options:
I prefer the independent option due to my perceptions around price; but will check them both out. Thanks again, Andy. |

The Indy will be cheaper; ACS tell the dealer how many hours a particular job is, and the garage multiply that by their standard rate. I'm guessing will be half the cost of BMW unless they feel like price matching. The ones I called for a quote for spring install in the west midlands included the KDS wheel alignment in the price too.
