Spring Rates?
Hi Guys
So I'm looking into getting some coilovers and ill be able to choose spring rates!!! can anyone share how the KWs ride compared to stock? is it light stiff, moderate stiff, or aggressive stiffness. Im thing of making spring rates on 16Kg/10Kg because standard companies offer 10Kg/4Kg seems way to soft for me. Im not going to stance the car or n e thing i just want a nice stiff ride so on cornering i don't roll over like a boat. But i also don't want the car to soft because of the speed bumps in my complex i rather feel them hard then soft when i go over it. Main reason for this Post is to figure if any one can share their spring rates and how is the ride? Thanks |

Depending on which version of the KW you looking at.
V1s are just height adjustable. These are for someone who just wants to lower their car to look good. V2s are height and damping adjustable. These are the more popular ones in my experience. You can lower your car and adjust the damping to be soft or stiff depending on what you like or where you're driving (street or track). V3s are height adjustable and have independent rebound and damping adjustablilty. There are lots of things you can tweak and for most people, you don't need it. These are more for people who does lots of time between the street and track. I have the V2s on my previous E60, I have tune it to more comfort side. Just slightly stiffer than stocks but still comfortable. |

The F10 KWs are both progressive. If you want to control the dampening then I highly suggest KWV2 or KWV3. You can set the dampening to your liking as opposed to the V1.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need any help sourcing them. We have plenty in stock. |
