Sweet! Is this on the 55?
Undisclosed location. Haha but close to there. All the F10s in OC need to come to cars and coffee irvine! It would be cool to see how everyone is modding their cars and get advice about future mods.

Jb4 stage 2

Their website says the stage 2 isn't available for the 535?

Thanks for posting the dynos I was curious as to what you would get as your results. The highest I got WITHOUT meth was 324HP/355TQ which was the vorsteiner catback, RSi downpipe, JB3 at +4.5psi over stock setting, K&N drop in filter.

His "baseline" HP is with all the bolt on mods I'm assuming which is why it shows higher numbers.

My dynos were done in similar conditions last year so the discrepancy isnt all that bad. The F10 isnt a dyno friendly car; one run you can see a super high number then the next run its -30hp.

Would you say that running meth was worth it? Because I'm not even putting over 300hp to the wheels and it's pretty embarrassing considering all my mods

Meth doesnt increase your HP too much, rather it smoothes out your power band. All the bumps showing in your graph will smooth out noticeably with meth.

Honestly I dont think meth is worth the trouble.

So I wonder if stage 1 tune with 4.5 is better than stage 2 because you have about 25hp over me

so what's the bottom line guys? Is stage 2 worth the extra money and are the performance gains noticeable? I also noticed that it's not a slam dunk installation process like Stage 1 so is it worth the effort. I'm really trying to see if something out there can address the lag that I'm facing??

Honestly I'm not familiar with stage 2 and what features it has. But to be honest if there is a stage 2 available and all the additional features such as the CEL light fix and so forth. That alone is worth it to me, I'm also sure there is some sort of quick map change feature that you can do in car. Stage 1 requires a cable and laptop connection and thats annoying.

Its still cable and laptop to switch maps. I just talked to Daniel @RSi and he said him a terry are developing meth for the 535. I'm going to be the guinea pig for this and they new aluminum charge pipe. So I'll keep everyone updated.

Does the F10 even need a chargepipe like the E9X guys? Just wondering if bmw upgraded ours because i know the CP for a E9X N55 does NOT fit our cars so they def. changed something. Typically a CP only benefits you if you need Meth bungs. Meth is also only useful for more consistent power during hot weather and it allows you to run a higher boost map. Unless Terry is planning on offering a special map for our cars running meth isn't going to really give you anything that is worth the headache.

Terry will be incorporating it into the tune.

Any updated thoughts, considering no interest in a DP or meth?

I was able to break 323+whp and 417+wtq with a stage 1 flash thanks to a GSR Tune. I have no mods and running 91oct.

I've been reporting my recent results here:
