New/Old 5 series ordered
Well I finally decided to replace my 1997 528 5 speed manual today with a new 535. 130000 trouble free miles will be hard to replicate! Anyway we tried to duplicate the E39 as close as we could by ordering Titanium Silver, 6 speed, Premium package, heated seats and anthracite headliner. Dealer was great to work with at $1000 over invoice plus MACO and Training Fee. His estimate is 8 to 9 weeks arrival time. So add me to that 6% who won't have anything but a row your own gear box.

Isn't there a Mercedes forum somewhere?
Seriously, congrats to the OP for his excellent price on the car and fine selection of transmissions!
