Part Identification 11. 550i xdrive

Can anyone identify that part that the arrow is pointing to above the bumper? It looks like its part of the shutter assembly which I am not using but I believe that part keeps the bumper from sagging.

Uhhh…the arrow in the pic you posted is pointing at the engine’s acoustic cover (in the engine bay). It’s no where near the bumper. I think you posted the wrong pic.

There's a lower arrow (left side). Though I have no idea what it's called.

The front arrow just aft of the front bumper facia in the OP's original post, is the vent assembly as shown below, and the visible portion is highlighted within the red rectangle, with the majority of the assembly not visible when installed and viewed with the hood up.

Depending on your F10's options, the part number varies for this assembly, and is provided in the 2nd image below:

HA! OMG…I didn’t see the other black arrow on top of the black engine bay trim. Thanks for pointing it out.

You gotta help us older forum members out…perhaps a contrasting arrow color (like white on dark colors) would have made the arrow “pop” out .

Thanks for proving the parts numbers. It’s been a PITA trying to track it down. I need it before this car gets inspected for a salvage title. Thanks so much
