Audi Vs BMW commercials
Ok, so I understand that Im a BMW guy and this is a BMW forum but who else is pissed off at Audis new commercials?? They are saying they beat the NEW 5 series in a comparison test. They fail to mention that their NEW 5 series is actually the outgoing 2010 5 series that lost by very few points to the A6 earlier this year. Car and driver is already saying that they are ready to pit them against with the new F10 to see what happens
(http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...t_drive_review). It drives me nuts that they are running the commercial now that the new F10 has been released as a 2011 model and they are saying their A6 beat the NEW 5 series, the less informed right away equate it as being the F10 and that just burns me up. Everytime the damn commercial comes on in the firehouse all the fellas just look at me and shake their head and laugh. Just wondering if any one else is as upset as I am. BMW for life!!!!! |

Yea I hate those new commercials too. What about all the comparison tests Audi has lost recently to BMW... like oh say RS5 losing to the M3 in all direct comparison tests.
Just shake your head back at your mates and ask them if they believe everything they're told in paid-for commercials... like sheep |

I stand corrected, thank you mr PC but I am still a Beemer man at heart so I still feel that the objective values in the "fun to drive" category were a little biased. In the end what would you buy, the BMW or the Audi. I think most people would and still do go for the beemer. thanks for the correction though... |

The steering in the F10 is very light and lacks on-center feel.
This would make the car stand out (in a negative way) when compared with a tighter-feeling A6. However, in the real world (not Car & Driver's hypothetical world), you would be a moron to purchase an overpriced A6 (with its low-rent interior and front-wheel bias as compared to the F10) today. |
