New shoes on my 535d

Hey guys, I haven't had my 535d M Sport long, so I haven't had a chance to do any mods yet, but got the beast some new shoes. They are BBS CH-R's in Titanium. They are 20x9 et29 and 20x10.5 et35. I am running Hankooks 245/35/20 and 285/30/20's on the rear. I know it looks like a 4x4, but I hope to get lowering springs soon. I hope to install my black grilles this weekend. Painted reflectors and other subtle mods to come soon. Again, I know it looks like a 4x4, but hopefully that will change soon!

Looks great! I have the same color as you on my 2014 535d. I'm about 24 months away from changing out my wheels and this gives me another option. Was also looking at Avant Garde m510s. How much were the bbs's? Does it feel much different going to 20's? Also, until you get the blacked out reflectors, plasti dip works very well. Cheers!

Hey what's up Jules! New BBS's are close to 3k shipped, and this is my second set. I had the same size, but different offsets on my e60. They are expensive, and a PITA to wash, but I think they are worth every penny. They are light weight and really strong. My wife and I have unfortunately have hit a few potholes and they stand the test of time! The car came with the oem style 351M sport wheels with run flats, The 20's make the car feel lighter and the ride actually seems smoother!

Nice! looks good man!

Def needs moar low

going from 19's to 20's was a wash IMHO as going from runflats to non runflats negated the increase in wheel diameter...

I like how the darker finish on the wheels goes with the paint on your car.

Looks great! Always loved the CHRs. I had them on my D2 S8. My TSWs are an inexpensive replica of them. Great color combo!

Thanks! I am not 100% sure, as I already have a slammed 3 series vert, so I don't want to go too low on my 5

I appreciate the kind words, the rear isn't too bad, but I'm having a hard time with the front wheel gap............

I agree, the car looks super with that larger wheel and the gap is really not out of line.

Very nice wheel choice!!!

Thanks! I had the same ones in Bright Silver on my e60. The Titanium finish is quite different, but I Love 'em just the same!

So the rear offset sticks out 28mm more !!!!, how?
Do they rub and are they inside the arches?.

Uh, where did you get that the rear sticks out 28mm more? If I remember correctly, the oem style 351 rears are et44. My CHR's are et35. I don't know where you got 28mm?

28mm is correct.
9mm form the lower offset (44-35) and the wheel are 1.5" wider, so the 10.5" wide wheel will stick out (and in) 19mm more on each side compared to the OEM 9" wide wheel if it had the same offset, so 9mm + 19mm = 28mm more out.
