2014 550 xDrive

It's finally here!! No pics yet, picked it at 1:30 and promptly drove to a business meeting

Got 150 miles on it already. I can't say enough about the car, it's awesome. I will be paying for a number of tickets.

This car is a blast! Will update pics this weekend.

The B&O is interesting, I had to order it blind as there weren't any on the lot at the time I was shopping. It sounds good, and it doesn't seem like you can max it out, volume just keeps going up. I need to play a little more and fine tune it a bit.

I wish the HK was a little more like that. I find the volume to be VERY low compared to my previous two HK systems... May have wanted to opt for B&O had I known.

I drove a 760 this week with the B&O...was not a fan of the drive but was a big fan of the B&O. I feel spoiled now and my HK is not holding up it's end of the bargain.

I'm not an audiophile by any stretch, but it is simply the finest car audio system I have ever enjoyed. It is absolutely impossible to generate distortion. Music from reggae to opera sounds better than I have ever heard. I’ve discerned some things in music I know well I hadn’t previously noticed. It always sounds fabulous, but when you increase the volume on a good song, it is tremendous. The price point is high, but it is an all new listening experience for me.

I wish I would have gotten it... I checked pretty much every other option box, but I thought the price wouldn't justify the difference over the HK system here. Looking back, I think I would have gotten it if done again. My CA talked me out of it - didn't have one to listen to on the lot and said it didn't really make "enough" difference for the price... but hell, I just like the little pop-up speaker!

I also caved on the night vision. For $2,600 or so, I thought it would be a neat toy if nothing else... but the reviews on it were poor.

I'm adding B&O next time around!

I agree on the night vision, and went the other way ... I ordered the car with everything including B&O, but without night vision or active driving assistant plus. very happy with my build and the B&O system overall. Anyone on the fence should definitely go for it ... well worth the $4500 option ($3700 in my case)
